Rowles Lagoon was really a sumpland in the 1920's, then a drought, then the cattle kicked up the dust,
then the heavy rains of 1925, then a lagoon was created. The miners help create a better lagoon with a condenser for water.

Leslie enjoyed papermaking with many tourist groups.

The Kalgoorlie Boulder Art group had a lovely weekend of papermaking and art.

Some -6- Asian Plovers had a stop over on the unused RFDS airport, 1km west of the homestead. (Yes you
can fly on in with a small plane...1km long)
